No, I wouldn't take it, because my mental status is more important to me than what I look like, especially as we age. Academics have always been one of my strengths, and to give that up just to be thinner seems a little ridiculous, since I'm more likely to contribute something positive to the world with my mind than my body. I'm 24, and yes, I consider myself overweight, but so far I have lost 15 pounds and I'm working on my final goal. And no, I'm not telling you what that is. :)
