Yeah, many people think Saturday morning cartoons suck now, but have you ever seen a cartoon that comes on Saturday at noon called Liberty's Kids? I'm not sure which station it's on, but I know it's either ABC or WB. I dare say, until you've seen it you haven't experienced true pain. It's a show about the American Revolution as told by three kids who were supposedly involved. It's really sappy and far to educational to be entertaining in even the smallest way and they show three episodes back to back to back. This is what I would have to call maximum suckage.

One good one nowadays is Kenny the Shark. Another thing I don't like is Saturday morning is no longer for kids it seems. I wioke up early last Saturday to go to the DMV and the freaking Today show weekend edition was on. Remember when you could wake up at 5 a.m. and start watching cartoons, sometimes until noon?

Nickelodeon and several other 24 hour around the clock cartoon channels happened. The main networks lost a lot of their kid viewership and thus their ad dollars went away too. Actually, I think it's kind of sad, I remember waking up Saturdays mornings bright and early to watch SuperFriends and much more. It was a special time.
I loved the SuperFriends, and watched Bugs Bunny.

I feel the same way. Cartoons these days suck so bad.....I use to look forward to Saturday mornings just for the cartoons. I still feel the same way when it's Saturday and I remember all the great cartoons I use to watch.

They have all gone by the way side to make room for the newer generations and there Saturday mornings. 80's are a thing of the past.

My favorites were the smurfs and the snorkels. And of course He-Man. Do you remember the cartoon Gem? I had a Gem doll, but she was so much bigger than the Barbie dolls that I had no use for her. Those were the good old days. :)
