Yes people, he is right, there really are sand worms with teeth. Herbert didn;t invent his sand worms out of whole cloth, they were based on real living creatures.

If you don't believe us you can follow the link below to see a picture of one of these sand worms. These things are real. They really do have three jaws and rows of sharp teeth, and they really are ferocius predators.

They are also less than an inch long and live amongst the grains of sand on the seashore. Nonetheless bakedevryday is perfectly correct and all those laughing at him are fools. Ferocious, predatory sand worms with teeth are very real.

Wow... I haven't seen those since the last time I watched Beetlegeuse... and before that, I hadn't seen them since I watched Tremors... And before that I hadn't seen them since I stopped watching that awful Dune miniseries...
