Limewire!! You're screwed mate!!
Most P2P (peer to peer) networks for 'acquiring' software are FULL of malware, viruses & dodgy trojans that infest your system in the background.
Also a couple of guys at work practically destroyed two PC's by using Limewire / Kazza, it UPLOADED 2Gb of rubbish to each PC - through zonealarms and Norton (yup, crappy norton). Took me hours to get the PC's back....

I'm hearing that LimeWire is going to be illegal in the near future, it might be best to use another source or download music for the regular price.

stop using limewire p2p software as other user on limewire put virus/spyware/aware/malware/Keyloggers/trojan's / hack tool bar's in there file's you download from limewire..

you can set the max uploads and down loads in options put them fairly low (3-5 depending on your max bandwidth) this type of transfer takes a lot of bandwidth. Have fun.(i don't run anything else when i use it causes too many problems)

This what lime-wire does, it screws with your Internet connection, slows it down and freezes up. There is no way to fix it, unless you uninstall limewre.

remove and re-install new limewire.. it could be your firewall blocking it... also, dont forget, the persons pc you are uploading items from, may be switching off etc...
