They are more expensive at the bank, but more secure. We had a customer purchase checks through the mail. At the company, one of the employees copied her signature onto one of the companies printed checks then cashed it at one of our branches. Fortunately they were caught.

Yes, it is safe to buy third party checks. I agree it is cheaper.

I purchase mine online from walmartchecks.com. You can also go to the WalMart.com, click on Financial Services, then Check Printing. I pay about $6 a box.

Why bother at all? You can print your own... :)

Seriously, though, think about this. You give your check printer exactly the same information you give to every company or person you write checks to. Your address, bank account number, and your bank's ABA routing number are all on the check for everyone to see. A check printer is not more or less likely to misuse it than any other person you deal with...

It's safe to buy from third party.

However, why not use online banking? You can pay anyone online and your bank will send a check on your behalf to the receiver. Never have to pay for anything.

depend on the checks you buy at the bank do vary in price but if you want to safe some money try and used
artistic checks

Your bank should provide you basic checks for free.

I get mine all the time from a third party, it is who my bank uses on a regular basis
