Yes, butu you might have to reset it. After that make your PCs get their addresses automatically by setting their Network settings for TCP/IP accordingly. Then in the properties of "My Computer" set the work group name exactly the same between them, and adjust or disable your firewalls on each accordingly if you have firewalls.
