Notre Dame, hands down. What other college combines top-notch academics (#3 undergraduate business school in the country, for example), a small (comparatively speaking), tight-knit student body, a rabid, international alumni network, a beautiful campus, instantaneous national name recognition, Catholicism, and one of the most storied football traditions in the country? I am hard pressed to think of many other schools where football coaches stop among the crowds to pray before the big game, or where the students are so involved and campus life so vibrant that over half of all seniors live on campus. Dorm life is so great that they don't even have fraternities. Besides, how many other colleges offer interhall full contact football? That's right: full pads intramural football. Love 'em or hate 'em, Notre Dame is THE Christian/Catholic university in this country. And since this was asked under football, they also have the Leprechaun, the Victory March, the Irish Guard, Knute Rockne, the Gipper, and the most National Championships and Heisman Trophy winners of any other school, just to name a few. If you ever go to Notre Dame on a Saturday morning and see all the people who have come from far and wide without tickets, just to be a part of the atmosphere, you’ll know what I mean. No other school in the country that has the type of support that ND does. Nowhere else but Notre Dame.

West Virginia University. They have the best atmosphere in the world, along with an awesome football team. Plus, there is no other school in the country that has the type of support that WV does. So many people jump on the bandwagons of some of these Big Schools, yet probably could not tell you where they were even located, or who the coach was...but not WVU. the fans are so loyal that anywhere you go in the state, you can find something to do with WVU. Let's Goooooooo Mountaineers!!!!

Greenwolf, Notre Dame and USC are rivals, can't use both of em, lol.
Notre Dame is obviously the most storied College football in history, with ten (I could be wrong, don't quote me here) national championships, and the most easily recognizable fight song in the college world.
I might be biased, living in Indiana, but Notre Dame is definately the coolest college for Football.
They're also the most likely team to win a national championship this year.
USC not so much because it lost its best offensive weapons in Leinart, Bush and White.
Go Irish!!!

Since this is in the football category, I'd go with Notre Dame, Tulane and Southern Cal.
