I talk don't that much trash on the internet, most of these people aren't serious and there's really no use to argue with them if they're living on the opposite side of the world. I think I talk more trash in people's faces.

Because trash talking on the internet is done somewhat anonymously.

If you walk up to someone and say to them directly what you would say on-line, you might get smacked across the face for it.

They feel that they can get away with it on the internet. If you talk trash to the wrong person in person it could turn nasty.

its anonymous. everybody immediately becomes macho and strong and scary in their own minds. in person people can see how small and insignificant they truly are. the internet affords people the luxury of being able to close their minds and open their mouths without fear of bodily harm.

One reason what i feel the most apt is that ppl feel that on net they can do whatever the hell they want and no one is going to catch them.
