Could you be thinking of the Hawaiian guy Iz? It's a mixture of "Rainbow" and "What a Wonderful World."

The only one I know of is this Hawaiin singer, Iz something...he's dead, now, but he sings the most beautiful "Over the Rainbow" I've ever heard. A friend of mine used it for her wedding dance. Get on Rhapsody or a music engine, and put in the name of that song, and it will show you a list of people who have done that song. I can't pronounce the name of this Hawaiin person..but I know on his album the words "IZ" are on it...it's Izrael Kama...something. Sorry I couldn't be more specific.

I know Ray Charles did a good version. I'm not sure if it's been in any commercials.
