NO, they've been fighting the "Holy Wars" for over a thousand years. They won't stop until armagedon.

They haven't stopped fighting in the middle east since, oh, Egyptian times -- that is, ancient Egypt with the pyramids and pharohs and all that. This is probably going on four thousand years of battles and with that kind of momentum, please the deep and mostly irrational hatred that exists there, I don't think we'll see fighting end until the oil wells dry up, if then.

Yes when oil is no longer animportant source of energy.
The Arab countries have little else to trade to other countries. They will have to start spend $ for education, research, science, & technology. They will not have unlimited $ to buy arms and arms technology. They will have to rise from the lowest rates of gross domestic production (g.d.p.) the lowest rate of productivity per capita. (the majority of Muslim women are prevented or dissuaded from working)
That is when wars in the m. e. will stop.
