What would a stripper do if her dad came into the club?(Please read details!)?

Now okay, this is a serious question, so hear me out. Strippers, I'm assuming, usually don't tell their families what they do because of the stigma attached to it--and all sorts of guys go to strip clubs, guys with families, too. So what would a stripper do if her dad came into the club she was working out?

A friend and I were discussing this earlier this morning.That would be beyond awkward, and neither of us could figure out what we'd do. How would YOU handle it?

By chance, I went to a strip club where my cousin was dancing. We saw each other as she was making her rounds for tips, after I had just walked in. She kind of covered up some and said she wouldn't hassle me for a tip. I just shrugged and had a seat in the back. Later she came over and asked me not to mention this to her mom. I noticed that she never danced anywhere near where I was sitting the whole night. About a week later she called me up. She was very worried that I would tell her mom, but I just tried to forget it happened. I think if it had been her Dad, she would have tried to sneak out without being seen. But if she had been seen, then I think she would have got dressed and come to talk to him.

You cannot generalize on this point. Of course conventional wisdom has it that (naturists and professional nudists and performers excepted) fathers are uncomfortable, anxious, embarrassed, upset or otherwise disturbed by a daughter's public nudity.

There are subcultures everywhere (maybe even in Islamic countries, although I doubt it) where out of necessity (one-room houses where multiple generations sleep in common and family members involved openly in the sex trade -- to name two such) privacy and secrecy are impossible.

The answer is more ambiguous when stripping is part and parcel of prostitution. But when it's a form of modeling it need not be any more shameful than nude modeling for professional artists. Or prancing on a nudist beach.

Some fathers would be embarrassed, some outraged by being confronted with a stripper daughter at work. But nudism on stage and screen ("Hair"; the Folies Bergeres) have been with us forever and sensible fathers have been made proud.

Then there are the subcultures where nudity and sex are part and parcel of religion and daughters and sons grow up more knowledgeable than most of us, with puberty being a public rite of passage. But for that I leave you to the writings of sexual anthropologists.

I think that if it was something not discussed/hid from her dad/parent, that most women would leave the stage until she was able to talk about it or find another club. Chances are that her dad would be as embarrassed to have known that her dad was in attendance in the club in the first place.

Simply tell "your boss",that your dad just walked in,and you would not be able to do the show,because he does'nt know your a Stripper. Then tell him you'll work a double shift,on your next night,that way he can be compensated for tips you lost that night. He should understand that.

If I was her Dad, I would be 100% totally pissed!! I would get her out immediately and tell her never to do that kind of job again. I also would punish her in a loving way and expose her to the gospel of Jesus Christ. She would need the Lord in her life.
