sounds a lovely dress style add a colour jacket (nowt 2 gaudy) bolero style really in right now and reveal the dress in the evening
As 4 gold or silver I know ur dilemma silver was spring and gold was last season but is making a comeback, try it on with both options of accessories and see what ur happier with don't b a slave 2 fashion. A nice pendant or big bracelet as focus and don't overdo the jewellery unless u wanna look like a rapper.

It seems very popular to wear black to weddings - but usually more advisable for an evening wedding. Your dress sounds beautiful. Silver accesories seems to be the most popular now, I think gold is more formal and looks better in the summer against tanned (sun or sunless) skin.

You can wear any color except white in any of its shades for the wedding! I like gold better...but depends in the models of shoes and accesories, if silver are more elegant then go silver, if not go gold as I said

I think black and silver is fabulous, but the right gold can be, too. Since you're planning to wear black to a wedding, make sure you look festive and not like you're in mourning. Check youself out in a mirror with both colors and see which one makes you look like you're headed out for a party. Pick the party color!

yes, I wore black to a wedding a couple of months ago. As long as you aren't trying to out do the bride any outfit is ok. They say you aren't supposed to wear white. Either silver or gold would look fine. Personally I would wear silver, but hey...it's you not me. I would try to find a nice dangly beaded necklace as well. One that hangs down. That would be adorable.

Wear something that helps it not look so... black. usually people wear black to funerals and lighter colors to weddings. if you are going to wear black I would suggest accenting it with a light blue or pink. maybe try pink or tan shoes with some silver thrown in. silver looks great with blue and pink (whichever color u choose). Pink/silver earrings would looks nice, as well as a silver necklace. Maybe you could get a pink sash to go around the dress also. that is in style right now.

Well, I don't think it would be that great of an idea to were black. When you go to a wedding you usually wear white, peach, or yellow. But if you ask me I think you should wear white. You would not want to come to you wedding in black and be mistaken that you came to the wrong place. It just isn't cool!

Well, it's your wedding...
If you want traditional... white represents virginal purity, pink represents innocence, red represents lust, yellow represents friendship and warmth, blue (IIRC) represents peace, silver is purity, gold is nobility and fidelity, and black, well... loss of purity and death.
If you want it on pure looks, black and silver is classier than black with gold (which tends to not be pulled off well except by those with bronzed/well tanned skin tones).
