what happens if you dont get your period at age 18 or over..no its not for me...im just wondernig because everyone all ways says to see a doc..but wut happens?

The doc will typically try to induce a period with provera and if that works then it means there is an imbalance of hormones. If that doesn't work it could mean there is an outflow problem or uterine abnormality. There are other drugs that can be used to induce a period as well such as birth control pills, prometrium, and primerin.

If you have been sexually active then you might need to see a physician because you could be pregnant or it could just mean that your cycle is changing but anyway it goes go to the doctor just to be on the safe side!! Good luck babe

You may be pregnant or have a hormonal imbalance, that sometimes happends when you're very active. But you should a doctor just incase.

you could have hormone problems or endometriosis. the drs just need to check you out to make sure it isnt something major.

this happened to one of my friend and all they do is put you on birth control then it usually makes it start!
