1: Open Outlook Express
2. Click on Tools
3. Click on Accounts
4. Go to 2nd tab over (the mail tab)
5. At the right side of the screed click on Add and then Mail
6. Type Your name. Hit next
7. Type your email address ( The one given to you by your service provider) Hit next.
8. Type in your incoming and outgoing mail servers ( If you don't know them you can ask your Internet Service Provider what they are) Hit next.
9. Put your acct name and password (Provided by your Internet Service Provider) Put an X in the box to remember password.
10. Click on Finish.

Not all email accounts can be configured for use through Outlook for free eg some Hotmail accounts.
If it is for something like Wanadoo etc..then you'll need the POP & SMTP settings which are generally available from the ISP help pages
Once you've got these just run the set up wizard and you should be fine

goto file and export this will create a backup.
