I've seen the pictures of people who have been injured very badly by trying this...believe me it's not worth it !!!!

I never knew anyone that did, and you're right if they are it is very dangerous. They must not know that electricity is deadly. I do know that sometimes the meterman skips my home and I get the bill based on a guess rather than actuality because I read my own meter the day that they claim to have read it and it is usually inaccurate, so they reimburse me. I don't know if it's because I live in a large city and they are too busy or just lazy or if it's because they think most people won't check or if they think people are stupid. I noticed that most utility and phone companies work the same way.

It is greed and stinginess basically, gota save the pennys right? Its all about saving money, and money does make people do stupid things - my uncle fiddled his for 10 years till he got arrested and fined - what goes around comes around, - But I suppose it seemed like a good idea at the time eh?
