Hey Angela-
All of the guys had their answers now let me give ya mine. I've been married to my husband for 6 years and we have 2 kids as well. Let me tell ya, you have to keep the fire going. Wear something new and naughty to bed. Do something to him that isn't a "normal" thing for your routine. Right there don't let it get routine! I can't tell you how bad that is. But most importantly make him feel like the hot sexy god that you thought he was when you first met. He will return the favor! Good Luck

People fall into the daily grind of working and raising children and forget to work on the marriage. You have a reponsibility to work on the marriage for you and for your children. (Who will get hammered the worst if you lose your marraige?)
Anyway, you have to start somewhere. Get someone to take the kids for the weekend. Go somewhere you both feel comfortable. Tell him all the stuff you used to tell him. You know. You love him. You think he's a good father. You're proud of him. You're glad he's your man and that you're his woman. Men love this, need it, don't get enough of it (because we don't ask).
Now that you have his attention. Let him know that you want to keep him around, that your future is with him and that you really want him to feel the same way. Ask about his dreams; tell him about yours. Plan the next getaway say in 6 months.
Make mad passionate love. If there's something you haven't done together (or don't do very often), do it.
This is just the starting point. After the getaway, you need to have a date at least every other week without the kids and talk about all the good stuff AND bad stuff. Work on your friendship and the rest will come along.

You could find a way to have some quality time now & then for rekindling the romance. You can hint around what type of things would he like to do as a couple that you two haven't done before. You can try spicing up the bedroom a little at a time so he won't suspect that you've been doing anything outside the marriage, but only trying to relight his spark. Then you can just sit & talk so he'll know how you feel. Communications is important in a relationship, so if it's not easy try to start it in short conversations. Good Luck!

Your life is not the same anymore. His idea of being romantic is probably getting some at the end of the night. Just try to show attention to him. I know it's hard with two kids, we have two ourselves and in November we will be married 6 years. My husband feels like he gets lost in the shuffle, sometimes. they just want to know someone loves them and they are worthy of your attention, just like your kids. Try putting the kids to bed a little earlier and spending some time watching a movie or sharing some dessert together. If he's sitting in front of the computer or something, go sit in his lap, scratch his back. Chances are if you're showing him how much you love and appreciate him, he will be willing to do anything for you. He needs to remember that you are still the woman he fell in love with and not just the wife and mom.

Start planning day outings with him once a week where you take him someplace as a surprise, don't tell him where until you get there. Be creative. You each get a week to plan it and do what you decide. Do something that you have never done before with him. Plan a dinner parties, teach him to do the things you know how to do, but if you start with things that focus on him, there is a chance that he will spend his day focusing on you. There are millions of things to do. You will get clsoser and love each other all the more. Get out of the routine of being married that is boring.
Besides, it is his job to keep him happy not yours. Do things that make you both happy and learn about wonderful and exciting things.

Well, you can never be the exact same woman he met over five years ago. Ask him to suggest some things he fantasizes about, or just things he'd like ya'll (as a couple) to do differently. Express to him you feel as if the fire is burning out, but you love him very much and don't want to see that happen. Talking to the one you love openly about the situation is the only way to figure out something together....the best way for you two, cause all relationships are different. Have him make suggestions, I could think of a million, but to each his own, ya know? Good luck!

Well, I would love to have some inspiring thing to say that would make it all better, but I don't sorry! Maybe you can tell me why after being together for 3 years and my husband being prince charming, that he all of a sudden turned into shrek?
I did everything for him, waited on him hand and foot and was there at his ever beck and call, always did things to show that I loved him, flowers, cards, gifts, etc. And for 2 years I asked him what was wrong if there was anything that I could change to make things better, trust me, I tried it all BJ, great sex, everything, and nothing worked! Then finally after all that time, he finally admitted to me that it was because I had gained weight and he was not as attracted to me any more and that changed his feelings for me? Now how do you stop loving someone because of their physical appearance?
I hope that everything works out for you better than it is for me! Good luck and God bless!

Well I been married for 6 years with 2 kids too and one thing you need to know is that no one is responsible for the other happiness, cause a person have to be happy with them self before they can be happy with others, so all you can do is be the best wife, lover, friend and mother that you can be. Take care.

After having the kids then i bet you two don't get to spend quality time together. Make your bedroom a no kid zone, redecorate it in some hot and spicy colors and decor. Then go purchase some of that sexy lingerie you use to wear to bed.
Hire a babysitter and take yourselves out for a weekend. Go on some dates, like the ones you went on before you got married.
Or try something new, just the two of you!
