My husband and I went last year with our son and his friend - depending on how old they are the main thing is games and rides -MGM has a big arcade with alot of games some interactive ones like wall climbing etc. The Excalibur has a small arcade but a good virtual ride that's fun for the whole family, and the more you play the more tickets you get to turn in for a prize. The Sahara also has a nascar game that we all enjoyed you're actually driving a simulated car - I beleive the luxor has that as well - for rides the adventure dome at Circus circus is the best. If they're young boys the classic car exhibit at the Imperial palace is good as well you can usually get coupons for free admission on their site. ESPN zone is cool as well - good food and you can watch sports etc on their huge tv's and move on to the arcade w/a small bowling alley, simulated football game etc. Hope that helps I could go on and on but check out the link below to see what works best for you

Personally, I would never take kids to Vegas. I lived there for 2 years and although they say it is family oriented, it is also known as Sin City. I mean what is the point of going to Vegas. You cannot, even stand on the casino floor with kids. Vegas is a playground for adults. Your children are to young to be left alone. What will you do there? Other than the pool and game rooms, why pay for the expense? Go to Disney instead.

Suggestions for Kids in Vegas: Visit Red Rock to go hiking and see natural desert, visit Mt. Charleston for cooler air, trees, and great hiking. You can also take the kids to Circus Circus for free shows and lots of games on the midway. New York New York can be fun because it has a "Coney Island" with a roller coaster and games. The Sahara hotel has a popular roller coaster and a NASCAR cafe. Also check out the "beach" at Mandalay Bay and the Sharks are there to view too. The Venetian has some cool museums including the Guggenheim and Madame Tussuad's Wax Museum. Finally, there is the IMAX theater where they can see a movie in 3-D at...... and the best show with dinner is at the Excalibur where they see knights fight it out on horseback and everyone eats a dinner like Medieval times with their hands(you can ask for silverware)....dinner includes a cornish hen, potato, roll, veggie, and yummy pastry dessert.

lots of the hotels have roller coasters and rides for kids, such as MGM Grand, New York, New York, Excaliber, and the Hilton has a whole Star Trek themed ride, and 3-D movie. Rio has a mardi gras parade inside the club that the kids could be in for $10.00 or so, lots of the clubs have animals to look at and light shows, etc.
Also, hanging out at the pool can be fun for them too, lots of great pool areas with slides.

actually Circus Circus. I had a delightful stay. The rooms have been very clean and the huge, nicely adorned bathing room became a plus. i think of it became plenty greater advantageous than Excalibur. there became plenty greater for the youngsters to do. From what I comprehend, they have even accomplished some advancements to the rooms because my final stay. The rooms i've got stayed at Excalibur are a touch to gloomy and out-dated for me.

look it up on the net! MGM Grande has a cool theme park with rides n stuff, Circus Circus has lots of (you guessed it) circus acts n stuff, ride to the top of the Stratosphere. The pyramid has a few lame rides, Lord ya don't have to gamble to have a fun time, the strip has all sorts of nightly free shows, the list goes on and on and on and on and on . . . . .have fun!

go to a bookstore and buy the travel book either by frommer's or fodor's. they rate everything in vegas and will tell you if it is kid friendly or not.
