In most cases, the other woman knows about the man being married and she just doesn't care. True, the husband doesn't seem to get as much flack as the woman, but that's because women have this bonding thing where we are suppose to watch out for eachother's backs. When a woman breaks that bond with another woman, it is like, she betrayed the female species or something. In your friends case, I believe that the man was just trying to cover his own butt, so that he wouldn't get in trouble. I confronted the woman my exhusband had an affair with head on, and I told her that he is married and he has kids, and she denied even knowing him. She later told me the truth. The thing is,,,,,,,,,,there will always be homewrecking whores, usually they want nothing more than to destroy the family, and then they're done.

That's easy. If you loved your husband, you wouldn't want to be mad at him, so you'd direct your anger at the other woman. It's not rational--it's emotional. I would think that having someone lie to you and cheat on you would pretty much kill your feelings for them, but again, we're not talking about a common sense thing. If you want to stay married, then you'll look for someone else to blame.
Some men aren't capable of being faithful, and some women find a way to accept that from their husbands. Life is complex, and that's the short answer. People do what they have to do to make peace with themselves and the ones they love.

Because the wife loves her husband and not the other woman. I have been through the exact same thing and I would love to be the sh!t out of this woman! She has betrayed all women by having an affair and knowing he was married. All women who know a man is married should TELL HIM TO KEEP WALKING!

Well the shoe is on the other foot here, my wife has cheated and I was angry at her as much as I was angry at the scum. I blame my wife for this mostly because she should have said no. I also think she was the one that instigated it. As much as I would like to do some nasty things to the guy, the blame goes squarely on my wife's shoulders, and I'm not about to go to jail for beating some dirt bag down, she's not worth it.

Not all women blame just the other woman. I know I would beat my hubby and the other woman. Any man who cheats on there girl should be shoot dead so the world could be a better place, and no more homes would be wrecked. That goes for sluts too.

I blame both especially my husband because that's the one thing we always talked about, was if one felt they wre going to be unfaithful they would get out. BUT I do blame the b**ch that he cheated with becasue she new he was married with kids I believe the b**ch thought she would get her an AMERICAN man since she is from MEXICO and she would have all the things he has given me. If he would have ended up with her I hope she would have gotten evertything especiall the cheating part, casue I would have just went and tookhim back after she thought she had him. I know he would come back to me he stopped seeing her right away.

It is the same for cheating wives and oh yea there are many of them people go after the other people because they are hurt and can probably accept their spouce cheating better than a home wrecker interfering with their family in other words family should come first forgive/forget whatever blaming your spouce won't improve your relationship if you want it to improve.

I don't think that's the realm of the woman only. Men get so mad at the other guy so often that it is or was mitigating circumstances in murder cases in some states, lowering from murder to manslaughter.
It's just idiotic human behavior.

Easier to hate them than the husband. I would think it would be easier to forgive the husband if you made yourself believe that the other woman seduced and took advantage of him. Delusional, yes. But maybe easier.
