Is it a r s e. It's a whining, preachy version of The Communist Manifesto, set to pretty turgid music. Listen to the lyrics - a tosser with the wealth of Croesus who lived in opulence and luxury telling us we should have no possessions. Yeah, right. I really want to hear that from a man who owned a Rolls Royce and a condo in the Dakota Building.

Fiona S, I could not have put it better myself. If you are ever in London I'll buy a drink. Two, even. Redrobin, you too.

i think it's one of the most dreary, boring and unimaginative songs ever written. It lacks any real message and seems to be a pure attack on religion and politics, blamed unfairly for everything. He only succeeded in making his solo career on the back of his massively hyped up Beatles career. Liverpool's music scene will always remain second best to that of Manchester, which is raw, full of emotion and beautiful. Look at Joy Division for example.

Yes I do, certainly one of the best songs ever written.

The genius of this song comes through in its simplistic melody and and depth of lyrics. So few songs have the ability to stop and make people think on the grand scale that this song does.

He prattled on interior the music through fact his ideas became too addled with drugs to be waiting to comprehend what became occurring on the time. would desire to have been think of there isn't any heaven, you merely quit to exist. think of there isn't any money, all of us die of starvation. think of each and all of the individuals. choking on airborne dirt and dirt.
