Just be thankful that the people answering the stupid questions are not the ones answering the serious ones. Do you really want the guy who answered the question "why do people suck?" to recommend a doctor in the Seatlle area?

People may not like to get too serious. The stupid ones can just be for entertainment purposes. Many people here are just biding their time as they are at work. And the kids that answer like to play around and have fun too.

Well, it's just like when people talk...there's a lot of stupid, pointless, babbling going on out there, and never nearly as much deep, intelligent talk. Plus, people like to be the first to answer a questions sometimes, and then of course, some people have way too much time on their hands.

Probably because most people like to answer the stupid questions rather than the serious ones.Stupid questions seem to attract more people because they are easier to answer.

Because smart people can answer stupid questions, but stupid people can't answer smart questions. And yes, I'm saying there are a lot of stupid people here.

It is just easier to say "srew you" or something like that and get 2 points. It requires more effort and takes more time to reply with a detailed, helpful answer. I wish I'd get more than two responses to my serious questions. I know what you mean.

Because it is easy to answer a stupid question and it is harder to REALLY come up with something to say on a serious one.
