Try taking Dayquil for the coughing. As for the snezzing, I'm not sure what to recommend for that except spell check. Oh, and keep reading the book.

Realize and keep in mind that this book came from Stephen King's uniquely creative mind...and for the sneezing and coughing, drink some NyQuil..tho it may make you fall asleep while your reading a really good book!!

Close the book and put the round brush attachment on the vacuum cleaner and vacuum the outside of the book including the closed page edges. That may help.

Could be a dusty book. Get another copy and then READ IT because while long in parts, The Stand is his best work. It's the BEST I tell you! DH thinks so too!
