really depends on the tire...but if it the original equipment tire that came with the SUV, do not expect them to go more than 25,000 miles. A good site for comparing replacement tires is tirerack.com

3-5 years sorry to be vague but there is a wide range - look for tire wear ratings on tire - never drive on tires over 5 years old not safe the body of the tire gets old also more than just tread-life

depends on the tires you buy.

ask a tire dealer what mile tires they are.

if they are 35,000 tires, they will last about 35,000 miles
if they are 65,000 tires, they will last about 65,000 miles

buy tires according to your needs. if you are keeping the car for a long time buy high mileage tires (cost more upfront but less in the long run)
if you are selling the car soon, buy less expensive tires with less life (save you money now)

it depends on the tires, but if driven as a commuter car, and rotated properly every so often, they will last you a long time.
