No it is not, would just be upfront and tell him to either pay a portion of the grocery bill, or share his food. If it gets bad, just buy what you need for a day or so, I realize that can be a pain to deal with. But we have had to deal with situation like this before, and that is how it helped us. We would buy stuff for a day or so, and then she would grip because there was not enough food in the house; I just told her to either go to the store and pay portion of the grocery bill.

No i'm afraid thats not fair at all. You need to talk to him and explain the situation. I'm sure he'l understand. If not try telling him to pay his way at the beggining of each work. If he's unemployed may be £20 a week. Try talking to himand your boyfriend together i'm sure it'l be fine.

If he is an an adult he needs to pay his way. If he is still school age I think you should get over it. My brother is stays with us he is in high school. He is treated like he is my child. If my husband had a problem with it he would be the one to leave not my brother.

It isn't fair but depending on how old he is a bit of selfishness is to be expected. If he is over 19...and doesn't share that is rude.

Pay for him to watch "You, Me, and Dupree" and then tell him afterward that it's funny in the movies, but in real life, it stinks. Then of course, move to buying only healthy food that no one likes.

no it isn't fair, that is being stingie. if he can't share his tell him don't bring stuff in your house and leave yours alone. it's only right to ask someone if they would like something but if you are buying and he is taking without asking, he needs to go!!!!

Put a padlock on your fridge and don't tell him the combo. That would be funny.
