Triple digits here in NJ today and I hear tomorrow as well. Last week we had such violent thunderstorms, unlike any I ever seen. Blacks outs all over northern NJ last week. The air is so thick and the skies at night are their usual ugly pinkish grey. The night skies have been this ugly color for months now. Seems odd to me. Maybe I should post a question on this.

Today, the weather report near my home said that it was 94 degrees with a heat index of 105 degrees in a small town about 25 miles SW of Ann Arbor.
In my town it was a few degrees hotter still.
I guess it was hotter than.... (click on mapquest below)

West Central Florida finally settled into it's normal summer routine of hot and sunny during the morning, and rain in the afternoon.
Believe it or not, there's much of the country that's hotter than the "Sunshine State" right now.

Cleveland, Ohio - reaching record highs today. It's 98 at 4:00 p.m. This morning at 6:30 a.m. it was 82 degrees. This is very unCleveland-like weather. We just never see high temps such as this.

In Southern Ca, the weather sucks, Last week it was very very humid and hot, and before that we had a major thunderstorm with strong winds and hail, the blackout made it worse because it was soooo humid that the Air conditioning didn't work. right now its windy and hot.
