The Arab leaders are in a tough spot. They have to say they are against Hezbollah, but they also have to say they are against Israel. Besides,Lebanon is not just a Muslim country. Lebanon has a large Christian population as well. Lebanon needs a stronger military so it can keep piece in it's own country. After Beirut was destroyed the first time back in the sixties they should have built up to keep Syria out of there country. Although Israel is slaughtering many innocents, our country is almost hand cuffed. Israel is our police man in the middle east weather we like it are not. They are our spies and ears. They are the ones that took out Irans first nuclear effort twenty years ago. Don't be surprised if they don't do it again. As the Arab leaders go, Saudi Arabia has promised to increase oil production as has Mexico, to help us out since B.P. ignored maintenance on the Alaskan pipe line and has to shut it down With Winter coming so as to stretch out the time it will take to replace it, and thus keep prices high. Thank you again big oil and all your cronies in Washington. You know who I mean. But I don't know what the Arab leaders could do. They face terrorism in the there own countries. They will never openly support Israel, their would be revolution in there own country, if they support Hezbollah they will be supporting the puppets of Iran and Syria. Iran is a fundamentalist Shite state and Saudi Arabia is a Sunni state. Iran would try to take Saudi Arabia and we would be in a hell of a war with Iran and Syria. We would have to keep the Jews out if we wanted help from other arab states. Iranians are Persion not Arab. But the are shite musslims. So the Arab leaders are almost as helpless as we are. It's not a simple question.

Yews they are letting down lebanon! THE ONLY REASON HISBOLLAH WAS CREATED WAS TO REMOVE ISRAELI FROM THE SOUTH OF LEBANON! If everyone here would stop wasting their time and actually go get educted you would realize that Hizbollah is not a terrorist group. Hizbollah is from the people for the people. They create hospitals, roads, homes for children who lost their parts due to Israeli's war crimes!

It is too bad that non of you know what you are talking about and are strickly voicing your opinions based on the image George Bush creates for anyone who has a mind of his own!

And the Arab leaders are letting Lebanon down because they are letting Israel attack Lebanese people and Lebanese Land AND UN WORKERS without good reason! How many massacers have they done throu out their short history! You have all forgotten Qana in 1996 as wel as Shabra and Shatlia! Or maybe you have ever heard of them because you do not look beyond CNN'S BIASED NEWS TITLES!

No.

Arab leaders (Including Lebanon leaders) are not big fans of Hezabollah.

But they can't come out and say that they don't support them.

The people who are really letting down Lebanon are the terrorist organizations (read Hezbollah) who impose their ideology on a whole country that does not want them.
