Another question about 666?

I have asked two questions now relating to barcodes and the number 666.

Some of the answers are scary because of this....

Back in 1999 a devote christian man who had six kids stopped me in the street and started to tell me about the future He went on to tell me about this human chip they were developing a bit like a dog id tag you get at the vets.

He told me that first they would use the disguise that everyone needs an identity card.

Because these can be forged/copied they would bring in a human chip the size of a match head, on there would be credit card details, name, social security number, NI number etc etc. This would be injected in your index finger.

At tills you could wave you hand at the till and pay for goods, travel with out a passport etc. Everything would be in that chip.

But then someone could cut your finger off etc and steal the chip.

So, he told me.... they would inject it into your head.

Every bar code has 666 on it!

Never saw him again.

Even though it is correct that every barcode has the number 66 in it, you have to believe to fear such things and fear is how religion works......

I didn't see what your two questions were, but that scenario has been around a long time or versions of it.

If you read the Bible you will see that it is prophesied that there will come a time when no one can buy or sell except that they have the mark of the beast - the antichrist. Because of the buying and selling part of the prophesy, many have predicted that the mark of the beast will take the place of currency.

How do we get from where we are now, with most countries issuing their own form of currency, to an ACCEPTED world wide currency?

One way you would do that is to make the individual believe that they are personally at risk the way the system stands now. You might plant stories about identifications being stolen. You might say to one of the largest groups, the baby boomers, that their retirement benefits are at risk of being misused or stolen. You might tell them that you have a way for them not to be worried about their checks or money being taken away from them. You might talk of counterfitting currency and what a problem that is to the individual because it affects interest rates. You might talk about how easy it would be for the business people of the world when they travel if they don't have to convert currency. You would talk about how much better and more streamlined and efficient bill paying and everything else would be with one little chip implanted in everyone.

Why, it would be so important for everyone to participate because all institutions would be converted over to the new system that for anyone to refuse they would simply have their heads cut off! (That's Biblical.)

As an aside, what group of people do we know that cuts off the heads of people who disagree with them even today? It makes you wonder where the antichrist will come from...

You will notice that we are moving more and more towards a cashless society. More people than ever before use credit cards, ATM machines, and online banking. With what is going on in the middle east, it should give many people pause to wonder.

There is a chip called Digital Angel which can hold medical information on it. So, the technology exists.
As for devout Christians, evangelicals/fundamentalists think we're living in 'End Times' so all this 666 stuff relates to the 'mark of the beast' in Revelations. The number 666 actually means 'man', it isn't the number of some devil.

Have heard variations of this conspiracy theory since the 1980s. The Book of revelations in the Bible says that all but the saved will succumb to having the mark of the beast on them to carry on with 'normal' life (I paraphrase). Some people thought this was barcodes, some think it is ID cards.

As with most things, everyone tries to predict the future or the apocalypse and come up with some really stupid ideas.

The writer of the Omen wrote a book on how using numerology Henry Kissinger's name turned into 666, therefore Kissinger was going to be the cause of the end of the world.

Not sure about the 666 part, but there are some scientists in Canada that developed such a chip and placed it within themselves in order to test it out. They did this a few year ago. The story the guy told you has been around for like 10 years or so.

I know that everyone has heard of the "mark of the beast" and that story would seem to fall in line with it. But don't worry, I don't forsee it happening in the near future for the same reasons that your story portrays. There are no safe-guards.

Saz17 said the same thing that someone else I know said when I had my youngest son. The nurses seem to think that's it's imparitive that they take the newborn out of the room in order to perform this "heel(hell)-prick". I'm not much of conspiracy theorist myself though.

Well a recent pilot in the US was tested with people paying for goods using their thumb print.

I would like to think that someone would notice their finger off and report it to the cops, and if they were dead, even the most lowly of supermarket employess would notice someone buying 20 bensons with a bloodied, disembodied finger.

This 666 crap has been around a long time, I remember religous nuts refusing to buy washing powder and such when bar codes first came out. They are all just paranoid Ludites

The Book of Revelation speaks about the last days. The number 666 is related to buying and selling (Commerce). So the world has to accept this single point for the acceptability of Bible. Those who think deep on the subject only will know it. There is so much wisdom in God's plan.

In the book of Revelations in the bible. it is predicted that at the end of times large groups of people will have the mark of the beast on them(666) But it has been a very long time since I have read it so I'm not quite sure how exactly it reads.

Mostly it sounds like this guy was trying to scare you into following his beliefs.

then i suggest, you move on.
barcodes will not work on skin , why, they cant get the technology right to read a 5pound bag of spuds yet.
all barcodes are different every one otherwise they would not identify the product, putting a chip into living flesh would not be difficult, they do that with pets now.
the difference is we communicate, we think, we adapt. it would be useless because we would find a way to decieve the tracker..any way why implant a chip into a person, no need just sell him a cheap mobile phone and he will carry it around all day

Hi, In the bible it says that people will be given a mark if they follow the anti-christ, so in some ways what the guy said is true and 666 is the code for the devil or anti-christ, so it would make sence.

We are walking to the end. Isn't it clear now? Now I want to ask something to everyone who is reading this. What is going to happen when we can only buy and sell with those chips? Are people who refuse it going to die of starvation? Will they be able to travel? if you are one of those people, who won't mind being killed because of what you believe, don't be scared. We just have to look at the sky and be glad, for our redemption is near! Isn't it wonderful?
