Yes, it's called spontaneous abortion. Where your body aborts the fetus instead of it attaching to the uterine wall. This is a common problem. Many women go to fertility clinics thinking they are not releasing eggs, only to find out they are very fertile, but the uterus is malfunctioning.

It's extremely common. Plenty of women get pregnant and then miscarry within a few days or a week. They just think they're a bit late.

It is possible. Once the baby is farther along developmentally though, many women say that they can sense the baby dying.

But most miscarriages that women are unaware of are when the fetus is still very very young and the mother may not even be aware she is pregnant and have a heavy period.

I'm sure it's possible, but you will generally have some sort of sign. Did you have an intense but short "period" or anything? I believe I have had 2 miscarrages in the way early stages (before I realized I was pregnant), and it was the most painful thing I have ever felt in my life. And messy.

Sure, my dr told me that a lot of miscarriages occur and people just think it is there regular period. Also I miscarried a twin.

Yes, if you are very early in the pregnancy, then it is totally possible to bleed a little and not know.

yes it is, If I was NEVER looking for my pregancy in Jan. I would have NEVER knew that I had a miscarriage at 3 weeks. I had no kinda signs or anything! Just would have thought I had a heavy period!

Yes, you could be very early in your pregnancy and not even know your pregnant yet, and have a miscarriage and think its just a heavy period.
