they say it cant but im thinking a little lump sum of money definitely wouldnt bring me down considereing how broke i am? any thoughts on that phrase "money cant buy happiness"?

yeah it can...let's supposed some one is suffering from Cancer ...if he doesn't have money of course its gonna be worse than he got some cash in his packet...i think money is so important should say the most important.....if u got enough money u don't need to get ppl's attitude . if u have enough money u don't need to wait for ppl to help u

If you're having financial problems, obviously money would solve those problems. That's not the same as being happy, though. Whether you're rich or poor or somewhere inbetween, there will be problems in life that you have to deal with. How you choose to face those problems and deal with them, the attitude you bring with you, goes a long ways toward determining how happy you are in life.

happiness is when you are with loved ones and thats all you need to have a good time. yeah money may buy you materials that you want but not as much as you NEED. money really cant buy you a mom or dad as well as brothers or sisters. and money certainly cant buy you the love of your life and children.
everyone needs money once in a while
but good friends and family dont cost a thing

if you buy things your happy. but only for short while. then you must always buy new and new things. then you bankrupt.hehe So no. money cant bring happiness

it would bring me happiness. i could spend more time with my duaghter than the people i work with. i could buy a nice house in a nice neighborhood for my daughter. i could send her to college. i could help my mom and my sister. i would take the "problems" of the wealthy over the problems of poverty anyday!!!!

Not necessarily....but when you don't have to worry about bills and you're able to afford everything you need AND want...you have a helluva lot more time and energy to devote to finding what really makes you happy. ^_^
