Do you think he is trying to get the yoof vote?

The answer is no. He has got to get back to basics of law and order. Bring back deterrents like hanging and borstal. Get us out of Europe. Sort out hospitals by getting rid of so many managers and putting senior nurses on the wards not in offices. Blair will be gone and he is another Blair so if Labour put some different view he has no chance.

He isn't trying to get anyone's vote. For too long the Labour government has ignored the social deprivation, poverty and educational failures which create the hoodie culture. Instead, they have probably added to it, dumbing down the school system, taxing ordinary families who work to support themselves in favour of benefit-seeking layabouts and also changing the legal system, giving soft sentences to criminals and also creating the compensation culture. It as a party has effectively abandoned the principles which in the 50s made it popular with the working class.
I see David Cameron as a perfect example of the sociallist principles which Labour should be upholding. He is not just trying to address the end result of youth crime, but is trying to stamp out the cause, and along with it the supply of 'hoodies'. He is saying what much of the population of Britain wants to say.

I think David Cameron is trying to reach out to the younger voters. He may get more votes as he's trying to be cool. Don't think it'll happen but hey you can't blame him for trying!

I can tell you, if he comes round our way with his hoody hugging palaver they're likely to be a bit suspicious. I don't think they read the papers or watch the news much.
