I think that the United States should continue to stand next to Israel on this issue. I don't think that the United States should involve itself militarily until need be.

No, the United States should not help Israel fight Hezbollah because as I remember from the time Israel was made after the Treaty of Versailles, USA has gotten in more trouble and faced terrorist attacks since then. Take the world trade centers for example. Before the passenger planes hit the towers, all the Jews were informed of this incident and evacuated out of the building before it occured. Israel has become a stubborn, ignorant, and selfish country. All thanks to the United States spoiling it. As a Lebanese-American myself, i find myself lost from time to time. I am a very patriotic American, but when out so-called President Bush calls wars on countries, intervenes at the wrong times, and helps out the enemy which is pretty obvious is the enemy. When Mr. Bush looks the other way when his administration and the tax-payers who voted for him are trying to persuade him to change his stance, that proves that he is a disgrace to the american people world wide. Now I cannot call myself an american, im too embarrassed because of what has become of our country. Before all this, USA was the land of opportunity and it was the best among many countries, it succeeded in almost everything. But there is always someone who comes along and screws it up. This time its Bush, Condeleeza Rice, Israel. Shame on you!! Now about Hezbollah, it is not a terrorist group as many say it is. Its a political and military group, they fight for the freedom of Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria. The fight against Israel. They have every right to, after what Israel has done to the arabs. I support Hezbollah 100%, let them kill every stinking Israeli who is against us arabs, for once someone (Hezbollah) has stood up against the so-called iunevitable military power of Israel and is showing to the world that arabs are fed up of this.

*No offence intended*

No, we shouldn't help because for one, israel is holding there own against the terrorists and 2 becuz we are too tangled into iraq right now. not to mention extra border patrol on mexico coupled with the increasing threat of iran that everybody has seemed to forgot about.

I think that if we let Hezbollahs allies make the first move against isreal, we can then step in to help with the support of the U.N. and others who don't agree with us at the moment.

I think you are dreaming. a struggle (what u say teerorism or anything else) can never be stopped with force.
what do u think> Why India with a force of 700000 military men, could not succeeded in kashmir?

Victory of Israel with or without the support of USA is impossible. USA is failed even in Iraq and Afghanistan, yet?

Right now Israel doesn't want or need direct US involvement. They've always done their own fighting.

I wish some of our so-called allies would publicly support Israel's right to exist in peace. They are more afraid of loosing oil rather than doing the right thing.

Will it did already my friend so there is no use of this question dear!!
America Provided Israel with directed weapons (to make sure they can kill innocents) thats in the military field . In the political field u can see the beautiful Condaleza(hahaha) going here and there to help it (with no use) and u can see the wonderful american Vetos . (they say to make peace in the middle east , the realty says to make sure they r terrorizing and killing every body and helping their best(beast) friend Israel ).

We should stay out of it, even though Bush gave them the green light and refused to intervene because he wants Hezbollah, a radical wing backed by Iran, to be wiped out for the bombing of the Marine barracks in 1983!
