My son got a tattoo 2 days ago. Could he jump in the swimming pool fast or will it lighten the color? Just wants to be able to cool off quick....it is 97 out today here.

you should keep the tatoo out of direct contact with water for at least a week. sometimes longer but it depends on how fast the tattoo heals. but 2 days is definitely too soon. you could soak open the wound and cause the ink to be expelled. i would not risk it. depending on where the tattoo is he can still get in the pool just don't get the tattoo wet.
