If you've got a Windows machine, you can go to Control Panel, and select Display. Under 'Settings' it should show you. If that's not clear enough, the Settings page should have an 'Advanced' button that'll bring up another window - the 'Adaptor' tab on the 2nd window will show more details.

Go to START, Run, type in dxdiag, and there you will see everything related to your computer (what type it is, what audio card you have, what video card you have)
