They don't answer my question, but they will message me and tell me I am just looking for attention, but aren't they looking for attention when they take the time to message me.

But are they reallly looking for attention when they message you saying that you are looking for attention? As far as you know, you could be looking for attention by asking a question about people who message you about looking for attention who might be looking for attention themselves, while I could be looking for attention by answering your question about people messaging you saying you are looking for attention when they could be looking for attention.

Not necessarily...maybe they could just be letting you know what they think of your queries without the desire for unwanted attention. Consider the message before the motives without reading too much into it.
