I have got continuous annoying sound in the dashboard of my 2005 trailblazer. It is like the sound of normal paper sheet when you play with it or scratch it. Any clue?

I use to be an auto mechanic some years ago but have now only Marine (boat engine) certification...but...if the speedometer or tachometer are NOT "digital" in your Trailblazer...then they operate by a cable...that is, at least your "speedometer" cable. When these begin to go bad, they can make all types of whining or scratching or buzzing noises behind your dash. If your speedometer is cable rather than digital, it has a "cable" which "screws" onto the back of the speedometer itself and runs all the way down to and "screws" into the side of your TRANSMISSON. If this is the problem...it is actually the easiest to unscrew and pull-out the cable from the transmission end, and replace it with a new cable...making sure that it's well greased. If these are not the problems....then your next option to check would be your "free-air" ducts which may be plugged with leaves or other debris...especially if you ever take the truck off-road. I hope that this helps and that it leads you to your answers.
Good Luck.

it might be a snake.
there was a case where a snake got into a dash board once and the owner had to take all the parts out of the dash and found a garter snake in there.

what a great present.

it sounds like something fell in side.do you put stuff on top of your dash? if you do it could be a creitcard or paper, you'll have to take your dash board off completley & take out that object, that sould take care of the sound.
