It takes a really strong person to stay happy in a relationship all the time and I don't think that there are very many people like that know days. I have been with my husband for over 8 years now and I am still deeply in love with him. He is a pain in the rear sometime, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Settling is just a way of accepting that you are not going to find your dream person, but maybe get something better after all. Because maybe your dream was not at all reality. If you want the dream stay asleep, but you will probably end up missing out on the real thing.

not all individuals are happy in their relationship, some just settle for what s there or their are the ones that don t settle at all but just sleep around just to feel loved by someone. however there are the one who are truly happy in their relationship and are willing to do whatever it take to make the relationship last..

i am really happy in my relationship.. :). the only reason i can say that is because i've been in bad, negative, or just wrong fit relationships in the past, and compared to this one things are SO DIFFERENT. i feel supported, loved, appreciated, attractive, and most importantly, that we Communicate and Grow with each other. we learn about working together on any obstacles, even differences between ourselves, when we argue, he is very understanding and is willing to listen to what i have to say. i feel that we truly love and commit to eachother, so much so that we have this unspoken trust in each other... i am not afraid that he will hurt me intentionally....i feel that he holds me w/ high esteem and will do what he can to make us Both happy. at the same token, i want to do the same for him, make him feel happy, attractive, supported, stable, and loved.... if we keep working together like this, i know we will eventually get married. there's nothing else i need, and there's no one else that can guarantee a Better relationship than what i have now.. of course there's ups and downs (i don't really like the way he dresses, or his lack of exercise, or him getting irritated easily), but overall we have SO MUCH fun together AND we work on problems by communicating and trying to understand eachother. i am completely satisfied w/ my expectations in myself, as well as in my man!!!! :)

what is "really happy" anyway? does such bliss exist? I'm pretty sure that most people r just settling with what they have.i know i am most of the time.I'm happy some of the time...i guess.maybe we just expect too much.
