Yes. Smoking is not a healthy endeavor. Putting that matter aside, they're currently approximately US$7.75 or more in Chicago.

Cheapest Cigarettes In Montreal

2017-01-13 19:58:15 · answer #2 · answered by pittard 4 · 0 0

Cigarettes in Montreal are pretty expensive. I don't know where that 16$ is from but that's nowhere near the real price.

The medium grade cigarettes are around 50$ for a carton (8 packs of 25 cigarettes).

Low grade is around 35-40$.

High grade is over 60$.

I don't live in Montreal but in Quebec city, which is about 3 hours from there.

Cheaper cartons (200 cigs) go for about 35 dollars. That can go up to 70 dollars or so for domestic brands, more for American brands. You can, however pick up even cheaper smokes on a reserve, about 18 dollars for a bag (yup a zip lock bag) of 200.

I smoke and have lived in MTL and I go there almost every year. A pack of cig like du Maurier is about 8-10 cnd dollars tax included depending where you buy them.
