This lady BonnyRogue posted a question to which I answered and was very defensive about the answer that I gave. Correct me if I am wrong but there is no way to know for sure that the person you are with is not cheating on you unless you spend every moment of your day with them. The only that you have is faith in your mate and relationship that it is not happening but that does not mean that it is not happening.

because sometimes people don't want honesty, they want affirmation of their emotional state, or they want to invite folk to their pity party....

... and there are some shining examples way above (first 2) of the flip side of honest answers...useless ones.

When we give our honest answer it sometimes isn't the answer they wanted to even face let alone entertain and have quantified by a total stranger. If the stranger has hit on the correct answer, that can sometimes reflect to mean to the asker that she/he was too blind to see what was right in her face all the time while a stranger miles away and "clueless" basically, could figure it out no problem.

She'll have to deal with the infidelity head on now or bury her head in the sand and pretend she never asked for advice, never got logical answers that could have hit the nail on the head, and never have to really deal with reality.

You did what you could by answering and if you answered through the generosity of believing that you were assisting, then you have no reason to be expected to take her defensive attitude to heart. Just do as she will...ignore the advise/response because you aren't the one that will be affected by the question for any longer than it takes you to move onto answering the next one. Don't let poor, arrogant or defensive responses from askers or even answerer's stay with you...just as they use anonymity to hide behind their responses...you can use yours to deflect them when and if you want to.

The only suggestion I have? Read your responses a few times and take on the asker's position...how would you interpret your own words? If they come across exactly the way you want them to, then you have done far more than had you not answered the question at all...you never ever know how your answer will affect the querant and you never know what your answer might mean to change someones life for the better. A roll of the dice, just like life.

Keep doing what you are doing and let defensive, non helpful responses/retorts...vaporize in cyberspace, those aren't even worth anymore to you than it meant to the one who wasted time writing them.
Good luck...

The reason that some people get upset is because some people do not want an opinion or advise.... they only want to ease their fears or insecurities! They want someone to just placate them and tell them that everything is going to be alright!!!! Your answer seems pretty much "on the money" to me, even though it is not an easy thing to hear. Love, trust and respect go hand in hand in any relationship...You must love, trust and respect each other, and the relationship must be nurtured and revered by BOTH parties in order to stand true...you cannot spend every moment of everyday together, any more than you can WORRY about "is the other person cheating on me" it is a FAITH! thing!!!!..........so there 'ya go miss BonnyRogue...sometimes the truth hurts!!!!!!!!

there are set off words that reason some questions and solutions to pass without delay to the rubbish. that's genuine for the two factors. I truly have run experiments to verify which gets deleted speedier, jew posts, dem posts, or repub posts. anti-obunghole posts final conventional of an afternoon, possibly 2. whether that's anti-jew, it gets yanked in little as 3 minutes. anti-repub posts stay till suitable answer is accomplished. each and every so often they get deleted even then, yet customarily no longer

You are correct, most people on here are trying to find justification in their actions by posting personal questions. When you tell them what you think, it may not be the answer they were hoping for. It does hurt, but sometimes the truth hurts. I allow them to get angry, because maybe in the future they will realize the truth and act accordingly.

When people are faced with a view thats different from theirs its hard for them to see outside their box and be objective. Thats one of the good things about answers is to see many sides of an issue. Sometimes seeing outside your own comfort zones provokes FEAR of what you do not understand.

I suppose there are ways of responding to things which are sensitive in nature. Plus a lot of people on here give idiotic responses to perfectly legit questions (not saying you did but my God have you seen some of the clowns on here)!

Sounds like you might be a little obsessed. I mean, who really cares right? Maybe you said something that was out of line. Ever thought of that. I've had idiots respond to me without knowing anything about me.
