Anybody else really not like their college (undergraduate)? I go to a small, liberal arts school in PA and really am not happy there. This will be my senior year and I'm so looking forward to getting out. It makes me sad that I feel this way about college when it was supposed to be the best 4 years of life. Anybody else feel this way about college? I've become very apathetic about school and wish I had gone to college when I was ready instead of slogging through the past 3 years. I should have transferred too but money was a big issue. Anybody else feel their college experience blew?

I must admit to not relating to such an attitude. Possibly it is an age thing.

I come from a generation when only a minority of students went on to college. Most of us work our way through the cost of college. To most of the people I knew it was viewed as an opportunity to learn more. Secondarily it was an opportunity to jump up a few rungs on the chosen career ladder.

How an individual student “felt” about it directly related to what they put into it. It seems to me that it isn’t the school, but rather, the student’s approach to life. If you don’t like the school, then leave, its that simple.

I agree, if you don't like the school then leave. I went to a small, private, Methodist affiliated school in western NC and I absolutely loved it. I loved all four years of school and wish that there had been a graduate program.

I'm not liking my college experience because I transferred into a very pathetic school.
