Yes. I used to live in a metropolitan area, and I used to ask the same thing. Even some people I thought were my friends were very quick to turn, as they didn't seem to realize that it really doesn't have to be a "screw or get screwed" world. I don't understand it, when I am actually a very trustworthy friend. Then we moved to a smaller town/ city, and started going to church where there are a lot of people our age and outlook. I'm glad I found that, because I get tired of people who always seem to have ulterior motives.

I ask myself this same question almost daily. Wouldn't think so when hearing the news. Doesn't seem so when stepping out my front door. But I know of two personally, so there are bound to be more. If you can't find one, look in the mirror, you seem to be good or you wouldn't be asking if there were any others left. Unless of course you're a bad person trying to rid the world of the rest of the good people and are running out of places to look other than Yahoo Answers. ;)

Yeah there are good people about but not so many as there should be..I do know though that this world is getting more dangerous by the day and that cant be good..

I d like to think so, and I still look for those very decent people, they are out there somewhere, I just ignore the ones that lie, dishonest etc.

Yes there are lots of good kind people in the world, we hear lots in the media about bad wicked people but not much about the good but they do exist believe me. thank God.
