I don't hate your motherland. But I see your whole point on Yahoo! anwers is to make an issue out of your heritage. Its even in your name. Right from the start of this question, you accuse people of hating China and it's people. Calm the hell down. And how do I "lood" down on something? Oh yeah, and I just heard China beat to death 50,000 dogs. I don't like that.

China is a spectacular country filled with many hard
working people.

What's to hate?

If Americans hate anything about China, it is the following things:

1: China's government is oppresive and does occasionally
violates people's human rights. Arguably the US was
formed as a response to England violating our rights - so
its kind of built into the concept of "American" to despise it
(even though we have recently been guilty of it several times)

2: China's significantly poorer population means that it can
provide labor to the world's companies far more cheaply
than American laborers can. This means that companies
tend to close down here and open in China, essentially
taking jobs from the United States. The fact that the Chinese
may need them more doesn't cross the minds of many
Ameircan laborers.

3: Many companies in China (and elsewhere) do not honor
American intellectual copyright laws, meaning that artists
and computer programmers do not get paid what they
should get paid for their work. We believe in adequate
compensation for work - not copyright theft.

However, I don't think people hate China - it is simply one
country of many that seem to deprive Americans of what
they think they are entitled to.

That the result of cheap labor is to lower the cost of goods
for everybody rarely crosses anyone's mind...

Other than the fact that Christianity is outlawed by the Chinese government, other than official churches, and will imprison, torture, and kill Christians for the sole fact that they are Christian, have a Bible, and don't go to the sanctioned churches...

...I find Ancient China to be a wondrous place, full of beautiful flora and fauna, brilliant architexture, beautiful textures, delicious foods, and the calligraphy and art something worthy of learning to reproduce.

But, yeah, the wholesale persecution of my brethren and sisters puts a real downer on the whole place.

You don't look chinese in your avatar. I don't hate your homeland, Mulan was a great disney movie. Your country has many nice plants and animals. And who doesn't love rice? I honor your country everytime my family goes to a chinese restaurant, and the fortune cookies are quite nice also. I am not in school, I'm an adult. Have a nice day, chi chi

I am 22 female from the United States... California specifically. I do not hate china. I do not ever hear people saying " F*&%, I hate China." Maybe you should ask the person who said that they hate China. They probably know why.

I'm assuming you are Chinese from your screenname. I think many Americans resent it due to the fact that China is getting a lot of jobs from American companies, taking away from our economy. Also, China tends to bring up images of the Tiananmen Square incident.

I don't hate China. I think the Chinese culture is fascinating. I studied Art History in Detroit and the history of Chinese art is wonderful to study.
