I would change the fact that a burgalar can come into your home and if you defend your house and hurt him , you can actually get arrested.

Sorry, I missed the law part. I wouldn't change a law, but I would find a way around the horrible Kelo decision by the SCOTUS. I would pass a new law restricting eminent domain and making it illegal to use eminent domain to transfer private property to another private entity.

it isn't a law but I would scrap the council tax and give more money to parents with small babies
