Cornbread, because corn is sacred to the god and grilled trout because water is sacred to the Mother.
Bright Blessings, and Happy Lammas to you as well!!

Merry Meet!
Happy Lughnasah( Lamas) to you!!!!
We bake a fresh fruit bread for Cakes for ritual. Use a simple bread recipe, alter it so you take out a bit of the liquid to accomodate the fresh fruit. Use Cherries, Peaches, oranges, berries of all kinds, apple, or any other choice fruit you and yours may prefer,, Better several than just one, Add it to your Bread mixture befor you bake, bake as directed, You may also have to add a bit of extra yeast( 1/8th Teaspoon) to make sure it will rise as fruit are heavy. Server Warm, with feast, or with ritual as cakes. Its refreshing and wondeful and adds to your festivities well. The bounty of the land Granted to us by the Gods. What a great way to thank them for it!!!
Merry Part, Merry meet again!
