I do most of the laundry, all the vacuuming, half the cooking/dishes (whoever cooks, the other cleans...unless the Red Sox are on, then I don't have to do either), almost all the "picking up"/tidying, always take out the trash....and yet I always hear that I NEVER do the litter box....lol I love my wife :D

Cleaning out the sink! Explain this to me...how can a man mess around with an oily, dirty car engine, wipe his hands on his shirtfront and then eat a sandwich, but it's "too gross" to fish a few vegetable peels out of the sink and toss them in the garbage? Even if you offer a paper towel! (And why aren't women supposedly affected by "all the bacteria"?)

My husband is retired and I am not. I wish he would notice and do the dishes in the sink before they reach the height of the windowsill. He's got some kind of a block there.

Washing the cups that men have accumulated in a vast wasteland of 'cups I got out because I forgot I had this one out already,' which generally includes old, congealed soda, tea flakes, and that white mold with the green spots in it. o_O -I- get one cup out a day. Why do men think it's necessary to use fifty and then grow a mold culture and refuse to wash them?

you know what i wish? -- i am a stay-at-home mom and do all the housecleaning and don't mind at all. my wish would be that he'd keep his big stupid mouth shut about how i do it. i can spend 6 hours a day cleaning carrying my baby around from room to room in his swing with me -- scrubbing, laundry, sweeping, bills -- the whole works -- and yet -- EVERY single day he comes home -- he finds something wrong. i would tell him to go to hell and do it himself, but he is allowing me to stay home and not work right now. i bet most women wouldn't even mind so much not having help if they were just appreciated for what they did do. but to answer your question -- i wish he'd fold laundry. it's my least favorite. thanks for letting me get that off my chest.....

Washing the dishes. Wish he knew the difference between loading the dish washer (but not starting it) and washing the dishes.

Laundry.....He'll wear something for five minuets then throw it on the floor and change. He has no concept of doing it so he doesn't care if he throws perfectly clean clothes on the floor.

I'm lucky, my husband helps with everything. But he won't change poopy diapers if I'm home. Only if he's home alone with our kids.
