That's really cute that you say cute all the time ever since you got married. Does your wife think it's cute? The human mind goes through some really cute changes when it realizes that it must consider another person to be cute for the whole rest of your cute life. There probably used to be other cute words you would say all the time, but now you aren't sure if your cute wife would think these other cute words are cute enough. Don't worry your cute little head about it. Just go with the cute flow. Okay it is kind of weird, but in a really cute way.
For variety, you can try "Niiiice!" and "Sweeeet!", but don't abandon the basics.

Not weird but poss irritating if you use it all the time. You may have picked it up from your spouse, people do copy each other's verbal ticks. Consider widening your vocabulary with a dictionary or thesaurus.

lots of gays say that. think of a different word and force yourself to use it at least half the time you'd normally say "cute".
