There are many reasons why Men dress in Womens clothing, it does not mean that you are gay, Womens clothing is far more comfy and nice to the touch than mens and some men just need to feel that feminine side of them needs to be expressed. don't worry about it, if you feel concerned then talk to a councillor who will help you to express your feelings and give you an insight into why some males do this. Do not listen to gossip as this could make matters worse for you. look on a transvestite website and you will find alot of the answers there

Being a xdresser myself I can say first hand that there are a lot more men think who xdress. You'd be surprise how many guys are wearing panties and stocking to work on a regular basis. You never thought of that one. Another sad thing is, a lot of husband are wearing there wife's clothes and she doesn't even know it. Sorry ladies but some of your husband's look better in women's clothing then you do. Why is it okay for a woman to wear men clothes and men can't do the same. Why the double standard?

From a purely fashion viewpoint women no longer can dress as men. Starting with Marlene Dietrich and running through Annie Lennox, by way of a host of others (whens the last time you saw Ellen DeGeneris in a dress?) there is no longer a clear line for women, only for men, though, who knows?, this too may change in time. On the pilot episode of Star Trek TNG they put Counselor Troy in a tunic/mini-dress outfit. In response to claims of sexism they did a couple of episode where male crewmen were wearing it as well. Fashion mores change, we deal with it or we don't, that is life.

About 2% of US population Xdresses at some point in their life. Numbers are said to be higher in the UK. I think more people in the US do but they lie about it.
Edit:
Why all the hate over spelling? You people do understand that not everyone here is a native english speaker?

SOMEONE COMPLAINED ABOUT SPELLING, SOMEONE SAID IT DOESN'T MATTER -- ANY OF YOU EVER TRY SPELL CHECK?
Cross dressing is quite popular with some straight men and some gay men who do drag. There are many straight men who deal with this as fetish. I wonder what the real numbers are -- Kinsey's report was done an awful long time ago.

dressing?men do dress to be able to cover their body or flesh, men do dress to comfort the body and lastly men do dress to be able to groom the self.dressing styles are varied from cultures and traditions where you belong.so if you dress like a man then you're a man by nature however if you are going to wear a lady's clothing or dress such, that is an indication that there's something wrong to you as a man because of what you wore that is vissually seen by everybody.

A lot of straight men dress as women, it's actually quite common. I don't know if there are exact numbers out there, though.

i am so sick and tired of all those who have a problem with the spelling. how many of you native English speakers have a clue about other language. Not speaking or writing a clue just like that. i am not talking about a third language...
