Any of your major banks shoud have a foreign exchange desk, where you can get whatever amount you wish. Usually, the FED only handles bills, however, so if there is a Jewish community near you, you might post a notice in the community centre and ask for spare change (but for a worthy cause!) if you need coins as well as a couple of bills.
If you explain why you need it, you may even be able to borrow some bills and coins, and give them back after the project is judged.
Good luck to your daughter. It's certainly a timely topic!

Write Mr Bush, c/o White House, Washington. He's just had a load given him for some missiles. I'm sure he could spare some for such a worthy cause, given what a good guy he is. Make sure you write the letter in big letters with short words just in case his aide doesn't get a chance to translate it for him.
You might be better including a picture of what it looks like as well, he's probably not too sure where Israel is, he'll just know it's "over there, somewhere!".

mom 1025 i ask about so many chores to do and we do nothing you responded that it happens to you and makes you depressed.. I also get very depressed and i dont know why , i dont want to interact socially,or talk, its like living in another world and still connected reluctantly to this one. I've told people close to me that i wasn't afraid of dying , but i dont want to now. My life is full of many desireables such as children, reasonably good income, acceptable spouse, home, and health and i feel ashamed that i feel this way,and resist any urge to end it all because i think its selfish when there are so many suffering without a hope of a better life. Can you relate to this??? pleaser answer at MY EMAIL ADDRESS/// GOD BLESS

Some banks can do money exchange. It may take awhile for them to "order" it, so it should probably be done soon. Any teller will be able to tell you if it is possible. I don't know if you have a Wells Fargo in your area, but they usually can exchange it.
