Every country is probably AIDS infested by this point..... Africa probably has the highest level of infection. In Africa orphanages have actually been set up to care for all the children whose parents have died from AIDS, as well as to care for all the children who were born with HIV. As far as I know, here in America we don't have anything set up like that. You can assume that the estimated number of HIV/AIDS cases in each country can be doubled to account for all those people that have HIV/AIDS and just don't know it. I'll admit that getting an HIV test was one of the hardest things I ever had to do, because the illness is such an epidemic, I was certain there wasn't any chance that I DID NOT have it.....but, thankful, I do not. That whole situation scared me so badly that I will NEVER have unprotected sex again....10 - 30 minutes of pleasure is not worth trading your entire life in for. Even when you're with someone you think you can trust...for all you know they could be cheating on you, which in turn means they are playing with their own life, as well as yours. In America, if you KNOW that you are infected with HIV/AIDS, and you have unprotected sex with someone anyway, if that person finds out what was going on, they can charge you with MURDER. Which is exactly how it should be. Some places in America are worse than others as far as infection goes.

No, we have enough medical organizations that test people for Aid/hiv when the people give blood, that we know we are not plagued with the problems other countries are.
