I have been told that on corporate farms when one works a weekend, the employee is suppose to get a day off if they work the following weekend; ex. gets friday off then works the weekend, then works the next week and gets weekend off. My brother-in-law works on a corporate farm in NE. and he was told he has to take an extra day off during payperiod as it is NE state labor law. I work on a different corporate farm and I have to work 12 days in a row and then I get a weekend off? Please send me the law if you can find it. Others I work with want to know, too. Thank you.

You should call the state department of agriculture or the extention agent. They should be able to help you.
