As long as it dosn't cry "I bought this at Old Navy!!!" I think it's okay.
Old Navy ... never "in style" but some things are an okay substitute as long as you can't tell that you bought it there.

Old Navy is an okay store if you only want to wear a shirt once. I've just had problems with items that I've bought there over the years, not to mention the problems my roommate had. She said that she bought a shirt that was relatively cheap and by the first or second wash, the color had faded so much it was almost unwearable and had to be used as a rag. But if I were you, I'd go with American Eagle outfitter or something like Ambercrombie and Fitch. Good luck on your date. And I'm sure that if she really likes you, it won't matter what you wear!!!

The issue I have with Old Navy is the same issue I have in many other stores. I don't like how their sizes aren't standardized. I think if you can wear a size 10 of a particular pair of pants, you should be able to wear a size 10 (and not 14) of another style. Oh well. Like I said, it's the same issue I have in other stores too.

Well actually, i think Old Navys gotten worse over the years... i mean seriously, all there jeans there have rips and **** like that in them, i think its better if you were to rip the jeans yourself, i dunno, it seems more personal then.. but i don't want my jeans pre-ripped, and i think there more boho style now and i don't like that, well in the womens sections anyways... but yeah, if you can find a decent outfit at oldnavy, why not? clothes are clothes, and old navy has some good stuff, but most of it doesn't work for me. BUt it's defenetly okay to wear on a date.

All I can say is that you get what you pay for, which is little. The quality of the clothing is zero to none.

the brand doesn't matter, as long as it looks nice, and they do have some nice clothes. try a dark bluee button up shirt with some dark jeans.
