I happy to hear you do not have any regrets. My marriage was suppose to last a life time, you know till death do US part, well, he cheated on me, lied to me, spent money we did not have on things that we should have done with out. Yes, this is my life, after 32 years of marriage, I'm going thu a divorce, and I'm very bitter about this, because it should not have happened this way, but it did, and I know I gave it my all and he gave nothing in return, I wished and hoped and prayed, I treat people the way I would want to be treated, and do on to others as they would do on to you, I guess it was not meant to be.

No life is not what I thought it would be. I married young (20) and was married for 25 years, had 3 great kids. He was a controlling person and when I stopped being controlled he lost control and put a gun to my head. I thought I would grow old with this man. I wish I would have worked those last 80 hours so I could have been vested in my retirement plan. Despite all of this, I have no regrets and would do everything the same if I had it to do over...except I would have hid the gun! :o)

Life is only what you make it, as is parenting and marriage. Of course, there are road blocks along the way, but those are what make you a stronger and better person.

As for changing the way my life is...nah. No thanks. With every sort of life style or way of living there are problems, heartache and stress. I have managed mine quite well, and don't want to venture into what other's might be like.

life is full of surprizes but it never stops from being interesting just hang in there. communication is where a marriage stops or continues to grow---once people stop talking then it is pretty much over.
